The Tulip Magnolia started as a small dream during a very different season of my life. I was teaching full-time and spending weekends setting up at pop-up events with a little traveling boutique, never imagining where it would eventually lead.
In 2022, after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, I made the difficult decision to step away from teaching and focus on my health. That season brought a lot of change, but it also gave me the push to take a leap of faith. In January 2023, we opened the doors to The Tulip Magnolia in downtown Apex, NC, and what began as a weekend passion became something so much bigger.
Today, The Tulip Magnolia is a place where I hope every woman feels welcome, comfortable, and confident exactly where she is. We believe style should feel good, not intimidating, which is why we’re proud to offer size-inclusive clothing with quality materials, flattering fits, and pieces made for real life. Alongside fashion, you’ll also find thoughtfully chosen gifts, jewelry, home décor, accessories, and plenty of little things that are simply fun to discover.
